Our mission statement is focused on extensive efforts to re-establish positive interaction & communication between the incarcerated individuals,their families and the diversified communities nationwide to assure all goals are met. We strive to educate the public via speaking engagements, on cultural awareness and the issues of racism and hatred resulting in increased crime and unnecessary human destruction. New Vision Organization, Inc. works in unity with community members, advocacy groups, service providers and prison staff whenever possible and throughout the country to assure prisoners rights are not violated and that they receive the necessary rehabilitation, legal and educational services which should be available in all prisons.

MANY INCARCERATED INDIVIDUALS ARE INNOCENT....MANY INDIVIDUALS HAVE COMMITTED CRIMES DUE TO SEVERE MENTAL OR EMOTIONAL ISSUES....MANY  INDIVIDUALS ARE INCARCERATED AS A RESULT OF SELF-DEFENSE...MANY ARE INCARCERATED AS A RESULT OF GANG INVOLVEMENT...INSECURITY AND CONFUSED.

WE LIVE IN A WORLD FULL OF AGGRESSION, HATRED, RACISM, CORRUPTION, DECEPTION AND ANGER. WE ALL HAVE TO ASK OURSELVES, WHO CAUSED THESE INCARCERATED MEN, WOMEN AND YOUTH TO FALL?  WAS IT OUR GOVERNMENT, MEMBERS OF SOCIETY, FAMILY MEMBERS, STRANGERS AND/OR THE CHURCHES? NO MAN, WOMEN OR CHILD IS BORN EVIL. THEY HAVE TO BE TAUGHT. ARE YOU TEACHING HATRED OR LOVE, TO YOUR LOVED ONES?

New Vision Organization’s Issues of Concern

Out of State Transferees without subsequent documentation proving the reason for such transfer/s.  (Protective issues without proof). Out of State Transferees inability to access MA Law Books in order to fight their case/s. Harsh Sentences (Life without the Possibility of Parole vs. Life) for first time offenders of a fatal crime and with no prior criminal record. Lack of follow-up and/or monitoring of Out of State Transfers. These issues are of great concern and need to be reviewed and addressed. Out of State Transferees serving life sentences without the possibility of parole, having no access to MA Law Books in order to fight their case and lacking support while in another state, is left with no hope. Without hope there is no reason to live. Without a reason to live they become depressed and vulnerable to other prisoners, the guards and/or they become suicidal
